Call to Order
- The meeting was called to order at 7:45 with the land acknowledgement by Sean G

Open discussions:
- Dennis K(principal) advised that 2 directors(past/present) to review financials for audit, update financials return with CRA for 1st year of reporting and confirm Society year end is May 31st
- West Edmonton Mall – swimming reviewed for booking for the upcoming year
- Possible move of current funds from Society savings account into a guaranteed investment certificate (GIC). Society will look into creating a larger account buffer before investing
- What types of fundraising did society do last year? Purdy's chocolates, greenhouse gift cards,poinsettia's, cookie dough, regular biweekly hot lunches, business/community outreach
The next society board meeting is on September 23rd at 6:30 pm via Zoom
